Project: Earth Tomorrow in Glendale

Last Thursday I met the kids from Project: Earth Tomorrow at their school Glendale Community College. They had planned an Earth Day fest and invited me "Mike The Solar Guy" to give a demonstration on Solar. I did better then that. I grabbed the "SUV" Solar Urban Vehicle. EESolars mini-Solar Assault Craft and hooked it to the back of my 86 Toyota pickup.
When I got there I was surprised to see that all the pop up tents and food booths were plugged into the grid. They had plugged in lap tops, rice cookers, blenders making smoothies.
Looks like a job for "Solar Guy"
"UNPLUG YOUR ELECTRICAL DEVISES!!" I said "SOLAR GUY IS HERE!!"
I then ran extension cords down the back of the neat little row of booths taking them all on a journey "Off The Grid"
